DESCRIPTION:Professional dispositions include the values, experiences, and beliefs that influence one’s behaviors and professional growth. There is considerable discussion and debate as to what constitutes essential dispositions in teacher preparation, how to embed them within preparation programs, and ultimately how to assess them. Thus, BranchED created a tool that captures desired teacher candidate dispositions while addressing the needs of broadly defined special populations. Participants of this workshop will learn about the tool’s development, how it was validated, implementation of the survey, how to analyze the data, and visualize the results.\n
