SUMMARY:Preparing for Department of Education Grant Proposals – Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop provides a high-level overview for Department of Education discretionary grant competitions and important considerations during proposal development. Participants will take a close look at the FY2024 ED grants forecast to identify upcoming ED grant opportunities, with emphasis on competitions focused on support for research faculty and educator preparation programs at Minority Serving Institutions. This workshop will review application guidelines in-depth and include initial conversations about crafting competitive proposal narratives, budgets and budget justifications, along with general remarks about the overall submission process in Grants.gov. Participants will gain information about resources related to ED grant programs and future BranchED grant writing support services.\n
