DESCRIPTION:Teacher shortages have evolved from a persistent challenge to a national crisis, one that calls for fresh thinking, shared leadership, and bold redesign. Join us for a three-day professional learning summit that brings together higher education teacher educators and PK–12 district leaders to co-create long-term sustainable solutions that reach beyond short-term fixes. Participants will analyze their current educator workforce landscape, explore and evaluate innovative staffing models such as teacher residencies, grow-your-own pathways, and apprenticeship programs, and apply data-driven tools to forecast long-term needs. The summit will also focus on supporting emerging educators, those serving as teachers of record without full credentials, as vital members of the educator workforce. Through interactive design sessions, case studies, and peer exchange, participants will reimagine district–EPP partnerships as engines of innovation, developing actionable strategies to prepare, support, and retain the next generation of exceptional teachers.\nAPPLICATIONS CLOSED.\n
